Soular is an American rock and roll band. Their genre of music is related to alternative rock and Brit Pop. The band is based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Soular rose to prominence in the Albuquerque area in 2003 by winning a New Mexico band competition sponsored by the state's largest alternative rock radio station at the time, 103.3 KTZO, The Zone. Their self-titled debut album featured the single "Why" which quickly went into heavy rotation on the station, attracting much interest from fans and several record labels. In 2004, the band released their second album, Time & Space, which climbed the CMJ college music charts throughout 2005. Soular is currently in the studio readying a new 2006 release.
